No Longer A City Laid Waste

For many, when I say the word "Missionary" their mind automatically goes to African dirt roads and holding orphans.  While this is part of it, Jesus desires to touch every city in every country across the world  To be a called to be a Missionary implies being a carrier of the Good News of the Gospel to the place God calls you at the time.

Today, my mission field was in Gainesville, GA.  As a part of the worship track in CGA, we gathered this morning in the city square and did an ATL (Ask The Lord).  We prayed together and felt that the Lord would have us walk around the city praying while others worshipped in the town square.  It was a beautiful picture to watch my brothers and sisters in Christ surround the city and cry out to God.  He put many things on our hearts and a few of the team members even had a chance to talk to local business owners and bless them.

God spoke to us that little ole Gainesville, GA is destined for greatness.  It is a small city called to big things.  One business in the heart of Gainesville sales jewelry and then sends the money to India to help rescue those caught in sex trafficking.  We may be small in size, but we are sending center for the Nations.

We ushered in the presence of Jesus and asked him to bring LIFE to a city that was more than once "Laid Waste" by natural disasters.  Gainesville has experienced devastating tornadoes and a fire that laid it in waste.  We say "NO MORE IN JESUS NAME!  Gainesville, Wake up because you are called to be wrecked by the Kingdom and Heaven and to impact the earth!"  God also placed it on our hearts to pray for businesses, music artists, and the very ground of Gainesville.  He is moving.  The city of Gainesville is crying out for the Sons and Daughters of God to be revealed.

For those of you who are encouraging, praying for, and supporting me, Thank You!  People's lives are being changed and touched by the love of God because of you.
